Types Of Temporary Fences
EMPORARY FENCE (ie. Driven post fence, construction fence, rental fence)
Installed using fence posts that are driven into the ground, then chain link wire is rolled across the posts and secured on. Typically used on construction projects around dirt or asphalt. Cheapest option. Great for slopes and uneven terrain
PANEL AND STAND FENCE (ie. Sandbag fence, construction fence, temp fence panel, rental fence, event fence) Uses 6×12 panels set on stands and secured with sandbags. This is the most versatile temporary fencing option and works on dirt, asphalt, or concrete. It is ideal for flat surfaces and commonly used for construction sites or events because it provides a clean, uniform look. Windscreen can make panels more prone to tipping, though stability can be improved with driven posts or foot braces.
WATER FILLED BARRIERS (ie. Yodock barricades, Jersey Barricades, Barricade Fencing, Event Fence)
These are plastic barricades that get filled with water on site. Weigh up to 900lb after being filled. Typically used for events or expensive project. Very expensive compared to other options. Can include a topper piece that allows for a fence on top. Different styles of the product are yodock and jersey barricades (2 different manufacturers).
